• Born and educated in Newcastle, NSW, Australia

• Taught in Papua New Guinea and NSW for 53 years

• Created many extra-curricular programs for students in environmental studies, property planning and young business awards

• Awarded State level National Excellence in Teaching Award 2003

• Additional training in Librarianship, Tutoring, Journalism and Adult Education

• Manager of Australian Schoolgirls Soccer Team tour to Asia in 1994.

• Married to a lovely farmer who is also an artist (johnandrewspaintings)

• I have had three kids (one deceased) plus four gorgeous grandsons

• Living on 100 hectares in the beautiful Waukivory Valley near Gloucester NSW
